Anyhow, those coming from mrt, I suggest you all come at the same time, like meet up so I can fetch you all at one go because my house is damn shitass far in.

But here's directions anyhow. First you alight at Kovan MRT. Then you exit by Lowland Road (the one opposite Heartland Mall). Then you walk through Lowland Road all the way straight. You'll pass by a petshop called Woofy's Corner (hahahhaha). Once you reach the end, you'll see some international school and if you continue walking straight, it'll be some alley thing. Those kind of allies you see on tv where a pervert guy rapes a girl. Then you just continue walking straight until you see a pathetic playground and a small flight of steps up. Go up the steps, turn right and walk up the gentle slope. Then you'll reach a fake bus stop (it's actually a resting stop). Then turn right and walk straight. You'll come to this turning called Kang Choo Bin Road. TADAH.

Now when you see that sign, CALL ME! :D

Okay there's another way to come to my house. But I'm not very sure about that. I know it's at Yio Chu Kang, Serangoon North there. ASK JIAHAO FOR DIRECTIONS IF YOU COMING FROM THIS ENTRANCE :)

Hi everyone, I'm proposing the class BBQ on the 10th December at my house. This is really planned beforehand so please mark your calendars and you have no excuse to not make it unless you've got overseas plans :)

Anyhow, my house is pretty boring because I've no mahjong or any computer, xbox, wii, ps 3. So if you guys protest having the BBQ at my house, I'm pretty fine with it. So anyone who wants to open up their houses, please do! My house will just be a backup plan okay!

Hello one and all. This is on behalf of Zhiyi. He says he wants a class outing since farewell assembly is in two weeks. Hmm, so how guys? Anyone up for it?

We can do things that don't restrain group size like, picnic at botanic gardens? Haha it's fun but maybe it'll be boring after awhile. Erm, night star gazing? Campfire? Okay sorry, I know all these are lame suggestions but you get the idea!

We can either go someone's house to partyyyyy, watching movie may be a little hard. Going to restaurants for meals might be difficult too so I don't know.

Hi peeps!

Long time since I blogged here.

Anyway it was Mr.Fong's BDAY yesterday!!! WOOT! (Hehe no phys tutorial..)
We prepared a flurry of surprises for our very unique tutor.

LOL Mr.Fong actually tried to cut them despite the size and brittleness of the crust. Its so small that the picture turn out small too.

Hey all, BT1 starts tomorrow and I know it's making everyone stress and all, including me! Well, here are two verses that holds alot of meaning to me.

Hello all, sorry for being so late! My internet mati-ed! Anyhow, here's the update on top of Beitris' post.

Yupyup so I fixed it on the 24th. Any objections? Please tag on the tagboard! I need to know the attendance too for the gift exchange! The venue was supposedly at Mark's house but apparently, it's impossible now so I need kind people to open up their houses? And is it possible for stayovers too? Cos we're most prolly gonna count down, that means past midnight. Guess there's no more buses and trains then so it'll be hard for some people to go home?

Food wise, I'll be dealing with it later. Most prolly a potluck so it'll be easier and fairer. Maybe it'll be good if you guys can pair up or go in threes to bring a food.

Activities for that day, also dealing with it later. Junius has a programme for you all so yup. Oh you guys can dress up in Christmassy stuff! :D

Hello all, I'm planning this almost one month in advance so that I can get the majority's attendance, and also, there's no excuse to pangseh on that day itself! :D

Okay so here's the long awaited Christmas party for 07S25 :) But firstly before all the planning comes in, I need to set a date where everyone have a 90% chance of thinking that they are free on that date. So I would like to ask you all to give me your free dates to ease the planning of the party :)

So between 24-30th December, we'll hold the party on one of those dates. As for now, I'd like all of you to tag the class blog and type the dates which you all prefer/are free. I'll take note of your names after that.

Concurrently, I've already some ideas for the party which I will post later on, after the date is fixed. The venue, activities will also be posted later. Most probably we'll have it at someone's house, and we might be doing a gift exchange. If you are for the idea of gift exchange, please tag as well! And those who want to open up their houses, please do so too! People like Mark, Eric, Zhiyi, Junius... and all those with big houses and function rooms :D

okay guys here's what i think.
i dont really like it when the class splits up and does their own thing, like maybe one group is eating, another playing mahjong, another group ps3ing etc etc. i'd rather the class be doing something TOGETHER.
so instead of going out or anything i propose that we have the outing at someone's house, preferably a condo with a function room. cause its a function room, there will probably be nothing to do and the whole class would have to stick together =P
also since its a condo we can buy stuff for a BARBEQUE.

Hey guys, urs truly is here to update u all abt e marathon volunteery job again! haha.

okay, for some reasons, they dun seem to need us to help thm in their packing on 19th 20th NOV. so, we're only needed on the 2nd DEC for our drink station services. but dun help urselves to e drink too much hor, else e contestants might jus die of thirst! lol.

anyw, as most of u noe, e briefing as drink station crews is on 17th NOV, which happens to be our sch's open hse. i noe its damn suay, but cant help it. those ppl who r nt involved in open hse MUST, I SAY AGAIN, MUST be present for the briefing at suntec at 0900hrs to 1100hrs. those student/hse councillors who're involved in open hse can be excused.

Sounds easy but its hard with the content I am putting up... Its the I&R schedule. Hmmm... ZzzZ?

Yea.. by now you guys should have your I&R 1st drafts returned. If you find yours lack comments you can find Mr. Kwek on your own time and ask him for more opinions

He marked some scripts on the spot in school today.
Btw... if you still do not have your I&R 1st draft, you probably went melacca, someone probably kept it for you.

Well, 29/10 is also Chinese, so Mr. Kwek expects the chinese ppl to hand in hard copies of their I&R 2nd Draft while the non-chinese ppl that are chinese but don't take chinese get to send it in as soft copies.

Mr. Kwek will try his best to mark everything by Wednesday and have our 2nd drafts in his pidgeon hole. Get it in school anitime on Wednesday so that you can make the necessary changes for the 3rd draft due on Friday. Yea... its OP day but he says its fine if you peeps send him soft copies in the night.

Mr. Kwek will chiong through the script and return them to you via email ASAP preferably Sat afternoon or Sunday morning. Final Submission is on Wednesday (changed).

I got a feeling some of you peeps might skip some draft and Mr. Kwek might not bother marking them if its late. In short don't pai-kia

Hi again. This time, there isn't any onion smilies. I wasn't around when Mr.Kwek was going through these OP materials on thursday. The materials that he wanted to pass to me, were given to my group members. I got everything from them and decided to just scan every single page for everyone, so pardon me if the blog gets 'messily' long.

I gather that alot of you already have the above in hardcopy and its probably already over, but since I got this clipped with the rest of the stuff, I'll just post it here.

Anyway all Chinese peeps having problems typing chinese at home might wanna see this. Just in case you do not have enough time completing the chinese quiz assignments in school.

Add Keyboard/Input Method Editor

Hehe... Been finding time to post this. Here is a tutorial to activate that latent chinese typing abilities your Windows XP has... Here is a no frills step by step guide to unleash teh chInaESE pOwERR!! (Disclaimer: Doing this tutorial is completely out of free will, if anything goes wrong cross your fingers, though I’ll still help if that happens.)

1.0) Switch on your computer if you have not already done so... >.>
1.1) Strangle someone if it fails to turn on
1.3) Wait
1.4) Wait
1.5) Scream at the screen since you find neither of the above matters and you want your com to type chinese ASAP!!

Okay fine... you can actually skip to Step 2 if you're desperate but i'll laugh if you end up having to go back to step 1.6

1.6) For those who don't know where or whats a control panel, Press Start and search for every single double word that hints "control panel"
1.7) Click on "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options." If you can't find it, skip this step.
1.8) Click on "Language and Regional Options"
1.9) Click on the "Languages" Tab

If you're lost now, I suggest closing everything. Comfort your com by saying "Its okay you can still type English... " If not lets proceed on to the main dish.

2) Under "Text services and input languages," click on the "Details..." button. If you don't know what I'm talking about, its because you skipped some steps previously... Haha?

3) Under Installed Services, click "Add..."

4) In the Add Input Language dialog box, change the input language and Input Method Editor (IME) to Simplified Chinese. Yea... we are not doing german so just ignore the selected option in the picture since its just some pic I placed from Microsoft.com

5) You should now see a language indicator in the System Tray (located at bottom right hand corner of the desktop by default) Just like how you saw it in the Com Labs.

Tip: You can switch between different input methods by pressing the left Alt + Shift keys or the right Alt + Shift keys

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) I already can type chinese on my com long ago, why are you taking up half the class blog main page explaining this.
Ans: Duh... Its for the benefit of those who can't. Close your eyes?

2) I spent three hours scrolling through the list of languages but I can't find chinese.... Nuuuuuuuu.
Ans: Oh well, things do happen and your com just dosen't have the chinese language support in it. Did you like buy your com from India or something? lol

3) Ahhh!!! I followed the instructions you gave and my com burst into flames
Ans: LOL call the police. Your com must really hate you for that to happen.

4) ZOMG! I made it all the way to the last step and its 3am here but i can't switch the language from EN to CH on the taskbar.
Ans: Just give up... No seriously, lol restart your computer after giving up and try it again, it should work. If it dosen't, blame the com.

5) How the heck did you find so much time typing all this crap?
Ans: The beings of higher power gave me a Time Lapse to complete this, treasure this post well... Nah its just a 10minutes stuff.

hey ppl. as u all can see from my msn personal msg, there's this Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon happening in the Dec hols where we can volunteer for it. basically i hav created a group where we can sign up together as a class. its gonna be damn fun man. furthermore this can be counted as some class outing or sth. haha. there's also CIP hours given and we'll be given volunteer apparel sponsored by Adidas man! cool stuffs. there'll also be some small allowance. haha tats y its not reli 100% volunteer lah, can be counted as working for thm.
basically we will be doing some packing stuffs on 19th 20th Nov as pre-race preparation. the time is stated inside the website. 2nd dec is e actual race day where we will be working as drinks station crew. however they MAY split us up into 2 grps if there's an overcrowding of volunteers there.
pls spend some time n read thru e stuffs and fill in ur particulars n submit if u're interested to go. anyw pls note tat e time for events day is 2.30am to 3pm hor.

College Day; Amazing race

Yo guys. Below are de details and instructions for amazing race on college day.

-All classes are required to take part in de Amazing Race
-Report to school at 11am sharp in pe shirt and skirt/pants
-Amazing race will commence at 11.15am and end at ard 2pm
-Bring extra clothes as there will be water games
-Ashmatics are reminded to bring your inhalers and keep them by ur side throughout de race
-Each class is required to bring at least 1 camera
-Prizes awarded to top 3 classes. Top prize - $150; 2nd prize - $100; 3rd prize - $100; 2 consolation prizes - $50 each.

Ya so tt's wt's on de sheet of paper i've been given. Erm and whoever can volunteer to bring de camera plz inform me.

I know mr kwek wun be ard on tt day but try not to pon leh -.- It's only for 3 hours liddat. Yea and de prizes can be used for our cls fund XD. Ya i think tt's all.

Anyhow, we didn't really have a proper outing today so so so so so so we this calls for an outing soon! And we shall go Kuishinbo okay!!! :D Hahaha when do you all want? Because results are gonna be released fast!! :/

HEllO! Anybody wants to get CIP hours? :D

"Youth For Causes", an event jointly sponsored by Citibank and YMCA.
Raising funds for CARE (Children-At-Risk Empowerment) through an event called "Money Tree", which will be held on the weekends of July.

The target is to make 20,000 leaves for the entire project, volunteers are needed to help out in the preparation of the stations or the manning of booths.
